This property is extraordinary. It is a beautiful home perched high on the edge of the jungle, offering spectacular views. Photos do not do it justice. You really have to experience it to truly appreciate how incredible it is. The home itself is lovely, decorated with quality furnishings, and high end bed linen and toiletries. The staff were amazing. Very attentive without ever imposing on your space. It has an extremely well equipped western style kitchen so if you want to cook yourself you can, however the staff are available to cook for you and prepared the most beautiful breakfasts for us - we advised we were vegan and were so impressed with how far they went to accommodate us and provide a hotel quality breakfast. Although quiet and peaceful the villa is in a location that is walking distance to restaurants, with a renowned eco resort right next door that you can cut through to. We felt very privileged to be able to stay in such a beautiful home in a stunning location, we would definitely stay here again when in Bali and highly recommend it to others.

If you are looking accommodation in Ubud with a WOW factor then this is your place. The photos are very accurate. The views are heavenly. The beds and bedding some of the most comfortable we have ever experienced. The Villa was sparkling clean and kept that way throughout. The villa manager and team of staff on hand are of refined 5-star service. Also, the flexibility in meal service times and housekeeping are what made our stay so special. I would not hesitate to return to Uma Kalai in the future. Idyllic in every way. Thank you for having us.

Our stay at Uma Kalai was beyond our expectations. You arrive and walk through a beautiful garden till the house. Ibu Made was waiting for us and received us with fresh wet face towels and delicious coconut water. The house is beautiful and has so much charme. You directly feel very welcome and homy. But the you step out of the living room and the view is just breathtaking. You can look over a big river valley and rice terraces and palm trees. Tropical birds flying around and its so peaceful and quiet. In the night Ibu Putu offered us to help to order some dinner, in the end we decided to take the "secret door" to the restaurant of Bambu Indah which was delicious. In the morning they had a super delicious and wide breakfast prepared for us with fresh coffee, cereals, guacamole, toast, eggs and much more.. enjoying this yummy breakfast and enjoying at the same time the view was only one of the highlights. We can only highly recommend to stay there and will come back for sure next time.
